"As my great nephew and great nieces aged, keeping up and getting them gifts that count and that they enjoyed got a LOT more challenging. I have found that though they are now in Middle School, they and their parents appreciate this Grown Up Gift! It eliminates gifts that are outgrown and need to be discarded and it makes them feel really grown up and invested in saving and the economy. I started them out w/ Disney stock to keep up their interest, because, who doesn't like Mickey Mouse???
